Contemporary artist Louise Bourgeois affirms, \u2018\u2026 the idea is to repair the damages \u2026 to make something that is fragmented \u2013 into something whole\u2019. Art endeavours to translate the inner word into outer expression. Art balances pain and provides an alternative to brutality. When we engage our creativity, we deepen our humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Spiritual Direction\/Companioning shares with art similar aims: to provide a channel for expression of the inner word, and to heal into wholeness, creativity and growth.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The featured art of these pages is by Sydney-based artist B.
